Note: I'm going to be blogging at sithacademy.com/blog from now on as part of my larger Sith Academy project to found the first Sith training school in this galaxy. I am currently developing the curriculum, recruiting instructors and building a forum, and I hope to see you there!
Do you lean toward the Dark Side? Are you a Star Wars fan, but prefer the Sith to the Jedi? Would you like to learn how to perform real “mind tricks,” defeat your enemies in mental and physical combat, manipulate people en masse, develop your psychic powers and awaken the Sith Superman within you?
Good news! The Sith Academy will soon be offering instruction in a variety of Dark Arts to help you develop self-mastery and begin building your empire. Why continue to be a slave and a sleeper? Why not discover the power of the Dark Side and become a Sith Master of the Universe? Visit sithacademy.com today to begin your journey on the Sith Path of Power!
Here is a little introductory video I made for a course on Sith Self-Mastery. Apologies for the poor quality – I am still mastering the art of video production. This is just a preview to give you the flavor of my teaching style; I am currently seeking to recruit other masters who will offer instruction in other fields according to their own personalities. Stay tuned for much more!

Honorary Sith master Bruce Lee said "As you think, so shall you become," and this is one of the core tenets of the Sith Path – to which I would add: “As you will, so shall you think.” If your will is to become a Sith master, you must make your thoughts subservient to that desire; you must condition your conscious and subconscious minds so that they may make of you a Sith Superman.
How can this be achieved? Here is the approach I recommend: expose yourself only to those ideas, individuals, arts and activities which promote Sith consciousness. Strive to remove all anti-Sith influences from your sight and to effectively brainwash yourself to the cult of the Dark Side. Below are some resources I use for this purpose.
Martial Arts and Yoga:
Any good martial arts program will teach you self-discipline and cultivation of "ki" or "chi", which are common names for the Force in our universe. I am partial to Ninjutsu because it is the Sithiest of the martial arts, though finding a Ninja master outside of Japan may prove difficult. The books of Haha Lung have some interesting nuggets of Sithy lore, though they tend to be highly redundant. You may also find the esoteric art of Kuji-Kiri of interest. Any rigorous Eastern or warrior training system will be of value in strengthening your will and deconditioning you from Western anti-Sith culture. Like master Lee, your ultimate goal should be to transcend every system and to kill your masters in Sith fashion.
The great old television show Kung Fu, along with Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon, sparked a wave of interest in the martial arts, Taoism, Buddhism and other Eastern ideas that continues to this day. The legendary 1500 year-old Shaolin Temple sets an inspiring example for our order. Sadly, Hollywood turned a Shaolin warrior into something of a California hippie, but the show still has many enjoyable moments. The episode "Blood of the Dragon" is my favorite, with its depiction of assassins from the very Sithy "Order of the Avenging Dragon" hunting down Kwai Chang Caine all the way from Imperial China.
Yoga is the original training system for cultivating the Force ("prana" or "kundalini") and producing psychic Supermen. I am an avid practitioner of Hatha Yoga, which gives excellent results for general mind-body health but tends to be somewhat superficial as practiced in the West. If you would like to delve deeper into Yogic disciplines, you may want to investigate Sri Aurobindo's integral yoga for realizing the Supermind, Tantra or Vajrayana Buddhism.
Philosophy:
Sun Tzu and Machiavelli: The Art of War and The Prince are of course mandatory reading; their timeless advice to emperors and kings will be essential when the time comes for the Sith to apply our mental mastery to the problem of wielding worldly power. The 49 Laws of Power by Robert Greene is an excellent modern take on similar subject matter.
Nietzsche: The original Dark Side philosopher of the Western world, I regard Nietzsche as this planet's most important proto-Sith prophet. You can safely throw most of your other books of Western philosophy in the trash once you've read and understood Nietzsche!
"What is good? All that heightens the feeling of power, the will to power, power itself in man. What is bad? All that proceeds from weakness. What is happiness? The feeling that power increases – that a resistance is overcome." –Friedrich Nietzsche, The Antichrist
Howard Bloom's The Lucifer Principle is another must-read work of proto-Sith philosophy:
“The nature scientists uncover has crafted our viler impulses into us: in fact, these impulses are a part of the process she uses to create. Lucifer is the dark side of cosmic fecundity, the cutting blade of the sculptor’s knife. Nature does not abhor evil; she embraces it. With it she moved the human world to greater heights of organization, intricacy, and power.”
Mental Training and Self-Improvement
Each of us is given at birth the most complex and powerful technology in the known universe – a human brain – yet we are provided neither an owner’s manual nor training in its effective use. The lack of emphasis on mental training in modern education is criminal; mind mastery enhances all forms of learning and is the best measure of one’s progress toward superhumanity. As Princess Irulan observed: “Muad'Dib learned rapidly because his first training was in how to learn."
Meditation is the simplest and most important method of mental training in the Sith Path. Meditation enhances all aspects of your mental functioning, including willpower, Force powers, thought control, emotional control, vitality and battle readiness. Some Sith meditations are described here.
PsiTek.net is an outstanding source of classic New Thought self-improvement texts, many of which contain Sithy ideas and exercises. I particularly recommend Think and Grow Rich and The Master Key System, which contain words of wisdom such as these:
“This much the author does know - that there is a power, or a First Cause, or an Intelligence, which permeates every atom of matter, and embraces every unit of energy perceptible to man - that this Infinite Intelligence converts acorns into oak trees, causes water to flow down hill in response to the law of gravity, follows night with day, and winter with summer, each maintaining its proper place and relationship to the other. This Intelligence may, through the principles of this philosophy, be induced to aid in transmuting DESIRES into concrete, or material form. The author has this knowledge, because he has experimented with it- and has EXPERIENCED IT.” –Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich
“Thought is energy. Active thought is active energy; concentrated thought is a concentrated energy. Thought concentrated on a definite purpose becomes power. This is the power which is being used by those who do not believe in the virtue of poverty, or the beauty of self-denial. They perceive that this is the talk of weaklings.
The ability to receive and manifest this power depends upon the ability to recognize the Infinite Energy ever dwelling in man, constantly creating and recreating his body and mind, and ready at any moment to manifest through him in any needful manner. In exact proportion to the recognition of this truth will be the manifestation in the outer life of the individual.” –Charles Haanel, The Master Key System
Neuro-Linguistic Programming is not a system I have studied extensively, but its advocates claim to be able to program their own minds and the minds of others using its techniques. If their claims are to be believed, NLP masters can alter their personalities at will and perform real Jedi mind tricks, so this is certainly a mental technology worth studying. Even if NLP is fraudulent pseudo-science, the mere fact that it has become so popular and lucrative is itself an impressive feat of Sith sorcery worthy of attention!
Mentalist and NLP master Derren Brown demonstrates real Sith mind tricks
Parapsychology and the Occult
This is a vast field which contains an enormous amount of rubbish, but there are a few brilliant thinkers, fascinating stories and nuggets of insight scattered among the chaff. A good place to start is Colin Wilson’s book The Occult. Wilson discusses many proto-Sith occultists such as Gurdjieff, Crowley and Rasputin and provides copious references for further study. Wilson’s thesis – that man is asleep and that by his efforts he may cultivate higher powers, which Wilson calls “Faculty X” – is precisely the message of the Sith.
Parapsychologists use scientific methods to investigate real Force fields and powers. There is a lot of interesting research in this realm by scientists such as Russell Targ, Rupert Sheldrake, Dean Radin and Brian Josephson that is worth keeping a Sithy eye on.
Religion & Spirituality:
The Sith Path is at attempt to create a new kind of anti-Christian spiritual order, inspired not only by the Star Wars mythos but by creative geniuses like Aleister Crowley, L. Ron Hubbard, Anton LaVey and Michael Aquino. The 600 Club, where Mr. Aquino is an active member, has some interesting discussions of "left hand path" spirituality.
While most LHP thinkers appeal to ancient myths and mysticism, I prefer to look forward to a cosmic future in which psionic supermen have built a galactic empire under the banner of a new Nietzschean religion. In that spirit I recommend the writings of cosmic visionaries such as Stapledon, Clarke and Sagan. Like them, I believe expansion into space is essential for human evolution and expect that new revelations and powers await us there which we can barely conceive of down here in our terrestrial prison.
Video and Role-Playing Games:
There are numerous games available which give you the opportunity to explore the Star Wars universe, take on the role of a Dark Lord, engage in superhuman combat, build empires and partake in other Sithy activities. These games can be a powerful aid to visualizing life after the Sith Singularity, but I would caution disciples from engaging in too much of this. Games can all too easily become an addictive form of escapism. The Sith Path is not a fantasy game; we use imagination as a tool for molding reality and acquiring power here and now.
Science Fiction:
The transformative power of visionary art is another application of the principle “as you think, so shall you become.” Every new spiritual order or empire begins with a vision, and the leading visionary arts of our time are science fiction & fantasy novels, films and comic books. Here are some SF stories that have influenced my vision of the New Sith Order and the Galactic Empire.
Star Wars: Need I say more? Beyond the films, there is a vast Expanded Universe to be explored; a good place to start is here.
Frank Herbert’s Dune series was a huge influence on George Lucas; in many ways it is Star Wars for grown-ups. Herbert’s vision of a galactic empire in which thinking machines have been banned in favor of advanced mental training schools is one that I find particularly inspiring. In our age of Google-driven mental degeneration and encroaching human obsolescence, I consider some kind of “Butlerian Jihad” to preempt the enslavement of human minds by machines a likely and desirable development. The Bene Gesserit, Spacing Guild, Mentat and Bene Tleilax are awesome visions of superhuman potential; Paul Muad’Dib and Leto II are two of the most impressive supermen in science fiction; Leto's Golden Path is a rather Sithy strategy to avoid human stagnation and extinction.
“Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them." –Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam
The Bene Gesserit are a very Sith-like sisterhood, with their prana-bindu trained mental superpowers, political intrigues and age-old breeding program to produce the Kwisatz Haderach – the super-being. Female Sith disciples in particular should take great inspiration from the Sisterhood.
The original Star Trek series explored Nietzschean themes on numerous occasions. Khan Noonien Singh from “Space Seed” and “Wrath of Khan” is one of the better portrayals of an übermensch in all of science fiction; “Mirror, Mirror” has the Terran Empire, a brilliant Dark Side version of the Federation; “Whom Gods Destroy” features Garth of Izar, a wonderfully unhinged Nietzschean superman reminiscent of Colonel Kurtz.
“Gentlemen, you have eyes...but you cannot see! Galaxies surround us, limitless vistas. And yet the Federation would have us grub away like some ants on some, somewhat larger than usual ant-hill. But I am not an insect, I am master of the universe and I must claim my domain.”
The story ends with the beast Garth being transformed into a docile herd animal by an anti-insanity treatment – a tragic metaphor for our age of medically prescribed mass mediocrity and Last Man ascendancy. Every Sith must fight this Federation mentality and cultivate his most extreme genius, though the sleepers call us madmen, monsters and megalomaniacs.
The logical Spock vs. emotional Kirk/McCoy dichotomy is a mild form of the Jedi vs. Sith cosmic conflict, and it seems that logic comes up short in the Star Trek universe. Just imagine how powerful Vulcans would be if they jettisoned their miserable logic-worship and embraced the Dark Side! This idea was explored in the novel Star Trek: The Lost Years, which featured Zakal, a Vulcan Mind-Lord who rejected the Light Side teachings of Surak and developed awesome, Sith-like mental powers.
"Surak's utopia of peace is a childish fantasy, a refusal to face reality. All creatures must prey on others, and compete among themselves; this is the way of survival, the way of all life. Surak would have us deny what we are." –Zakal the Vulcan Mind-Lord, Star Trek: The Lost Years
Sybok from Star Trek V is another anti-Surak Vulcan who used his mental powers to found a religious cult and seek god himself. Even Spock showed occasional glimpses of Sith consciousness, as in the first movie when he sensed V’Ger from across space and subsequently refused his Kohlinar ritual to purge all emotion.
Other science fiction of interest: anything featuring mental supermen, such as Asimov's Foundation Trilogy, The Power by Frank Robinson, Slan by A.E. van Vogt and Odd John by Olaf Stapledon. Older stories in this vein are listed here. A list of comic books with transhumanist and Nietzschean themes is available here.
At some point I intend to organize resources like these into an actual Sith training course. To me they form a fairly coherent set of ideas which haven't been put together and presented in a compelling way before. If the "Sith" label proves untenable for copyright reasons, I will be forced to call my system for training "Nietzschean psychic space ninjas" something else. Let me know if you have any suggestions!
If you choose to walk the path of the Sith masters, you will begin to see the world in an entirely new darkness. As the realization dawns upon your Force-heightened mind that Light Side society wants only servants of the status quo and not masters of New Orders, you will find yourself re-evaluating all its myths from a Sith perspective. In that spirit, I thought it would be interesting to consider a few empires and supermen of myth and history, and see what lessons they may offer to disciples of the Dark Side.
Khan and the Augments
“The trip is over. The battle begins again. Only this time, it's not a world we'll win. It's a universe.”
Khan Noonien Singh was the greatest of the genetically engineered supermen (“Augments”), whose rise to power led to the Eugenics Wars of the 1990’s. The Augments had five times the strength and twice the intelligence of ordinary humans, which enabled them to take control of over 40 nations before their defeat. Khan and a few of his followers escaped into space and lay in suspended animation until their discovery by the Enterprise in the 23rd century. Upon his revival, Khan quickly took control of the Enterprise and sought new worlds to conquer. However, Khan was betrayed and the Augments were exiled to the desolate planet of Ceti Alpha V. Years later, Khan hijacked a Federation starship and sought revenge on Kirk, but was killed.
The story of Khan is a true tragedy. The Augments were engineered to have superior ability, which naturally bred superior ambition, but when they acted upon that ambition they were destroyed by the combined forces of an inferior humanity. The Eugenics Wars led to a ban on genetic engineering, such that by the 23rd century humans were still the same sorry apes we’ve always been. As Khan observed: “Captain, although your abilities intrigue me, you are quite honestly inferior. Mentally, physically. In fact, I am surprised how little improvement there has been in human evolution. Oh, there has been technical advancement, but how little man himself has changed.”
What a sad, anti-progressive story! My main take-away from this tale is, if you’re going to build an empire of supermen, be sure to crush the normals totally before they crush you. No one ever said progress was easy!
The Terran Empire
"Terror must be maintained or the Empire is doomed. It is the logic of history." –Mirror Spock
The Moon Landing as it looked in the Mirror Universe
The Terran Empire of the Star Trek Mirror Universe is one of my favorite Dark Side archetypes. Here is a cosmic civilization you can root for – the complete inverse of the sterile, timid Federation with its pathetic Prime Directive and total lack of any great ambition. Mirror Spock was essentially a goateed, Vulcan Sith, which is one of the more awesome role models I can imagine. Every Sith student should study the Terran Empire closely as a model for the future Galactic Empire.
Emperor Palpatine and the Galactic Empire
“The New Order of peace has triumphed over the shadowy secrecy of shameful magicians. The direction of our course is clear. I will lead the Empire to glories beyond imagining. We have been tested, but we have emerged stronger. We move forward as one people: the Imperial citizens of the first Galactic Empire. We will prevail. Ten thousand years of peace begins today.”–Emperor Palpatine
We are supposed to see in Emperor Palpatine the very personification of evil, but as a Sith disciple I of course see just the opposite. I see a visionary who by the force of his will brought order, unity and peace to a galaxy. I see a master of the Dark Side of the Force of unmatched power. I see the founder of an empire capable of building death stars and vast fleets of star destroyers. I see a man capable of turning someone as powerful as Anakin Skywalker to the Dark Side and using him as an instrument of his will. Compared to all that, what are the Jedi and the Rebel Alliance but a rather pathetic, unambitious rabble? Why would I want to see the Empire, the very apex of power in the universe, destroyed? This is the insidious spirit of our time that every Sith disciple must resist. We must totally reject any ideology that makes villains of the strong and heroes of the weak. Like the Sith orders of legend, we must stand outside of time and place and remain forever galactic in our ambitions.
Imperial Japan
It’s natural for aspiring Sith to be fascinated by feudal Japanese culture, since it was such a major influence on Star Wars. The Sith and Jedi are essentially galactic Ninja and Samurai, and the Force is based on the “ki” or “chi” familiar to martial artists. Before its defeat in World War II, Imperial Japan, like Nazi Germany, had many similarities to a Sith empire. Emperor Hirohito truly was a god in human form, with a power that few modern Westerners can even imagine. The video below gives you a little taste of the dark beauty of Imperial Japanese culture:
"In blossom today, then scattered: Life is so like a delicate flower. How can one expect the fragrance to last forever?"
I am particularly fascinated by the Black Dragon Society, the Sith-like secret society of former samurai who ruthlessly promoted Japanese interests throughout the world in the early 20th century. In many ways they were the precursor of modern groups like al-Qaeda, and are a model for secret societies of the future. The New Sith should seek to create an Order with that level of will and commitment, because in the chaotic 21st century, creeds of weakness simply won’t survive.
Nazi Germany
Whatever else Adolph Hitler was, his life is a testament to the incredible power of human will. Has any individual in history had a more dramatic impact upon the world than this unpromising son of an Austrian civil servant? All aspiring Sith should study Hitler’s story closely, because there is no chapter of modern history with more to teach us than the rise of Hitler and the Nazis. The anti-Semitism, Aryan racial mysticism and other aspects of Nazism that are petty and untenable should be discarded, but the best parts – the tremendous energy, ambition, vision, futurism, spectacle and Nietzschean spirit – are precisely what I believe the modern world needs.
Empires of the Future
It seems that we live in an age of ruin, a time when every recent empire – Great Britain, Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, the Soviet Union and now the United States – has entered the dustbin of history. So where do aspiring empire-builders go from here?
Certainly China shows many signs of becoming the next great imperial power. The 2008 Beijing Olympics was a grand spectacle that echoed the 1936 Berlin games, and announced to the world that the Middle Kingdom was ready to return to the center of the world stage. I don’t have any special insights into Chinese culture, but I do see a powerful non-Western form of modernity developing there that will be quite interesting to follow.
I am particular encouraged by China’s strong interest in space exploration, the growing influence of Nietzschean ideas on its leaders since the demise of Maoism, and their sense of collective destiny that the West seems to have lost. I have even read anecdotal accounts of Chinese plans to breed supermen, by scientists who are apparently keen on conducting eugenics experiments on their vast population. Without a strong Judeo-Christian or secular humanist tradition, there would seem to be little to prevent the Chinese from attempting to engineer real "Augments". Just as Khan and his supermen emerged in Asia, it seems quite possible that real Eugenics Wars could originate from China in this century.
I also foresee the possibility of a 21st century techno-fascism emerging which will be global in scope – a “New World Order” which unleashes Nazi-like energies but dispenses with the racialist and nationalist cultural baggage. These new fascists would be transhumanists with a fanatically rational desire to reshape the world technologically, improve humanity genetically, and bring about a "Singularity." The creation of such an aggressive brand of modernity seems essential if the power of the fecund fundamentalists is to be thwarted. Perhaps we will finally see the birth of the kind of cosmic, Nietzschean civilization that I favor – one led by a new spiritual order such as the Sith, and a precursor to the coming Galactic Empire.
1) To discuss and develop the Sith Path for this galaxy, as revealed to me by the last of the Sith Lords of a galaxy far, far away and a long time ago. The Sith Path is a philosophy and an esoteric training system for mastering the Dark Side of the Force and acquiring unlimited power.
2) To create the first Sith order in this galaxy and lay the foundation for the establishment of a Galactic Empire. I believe this planet is ripe for a new spiritual order, and will be discussing my ideas for creating such a regime under the black banner of the New Sith.
Let me make clear from the outset that I am not here to spoon-feed anyone the knowledge I have gained through long years spent gazing into abysses, cultivating dark energies and communing with Dark Lords. If you wish to learn the ways of the Dark Side and prove yourself worthy of the name “Sith”, you will need to challenge yourself and others as relentlessly as I have. You will also need to put aside all childish notions of goodness, light and a benevolent universe. You will have to learn to look this vast, hostile cosmos in the void and be unbowed. You must desire to shake your fist at the stars and shout: “One day, you will all be mine!” You must take as your first principle: “I will, therefore I am.”
If you still wish to walk the path of the Sith, the first question I put to you is this: what do you have to offer the Order? How can you help us build the Galactic Empire? What special skills, talents or resources do you possess which can further the rise of the Sith? The New Sith are not interested in garden-variety seekers and self-improvers; we are looking for the Force-sensitive, the iron-willed, the ambitious and the gifted. Weak disciples will be ruthlessly culled from the Order, and need not apply!
With those warnings out of the way, let me proceed with my introduction to Dark Side philosophy and metaphysics...
The first thing to understand about the Sith of this galaxy is that our arts manifest differently here than for the Sith of legend, because we exist in another part of the Multiverse which obeys different natural laws. In our universe, the Force may be thought of as Dark Energy, which doesn’t bind the galaxy together but drives all galaxies apart. Here, the Force does not manifest so strongly in the physical plane; it is primarily a mental energy which focuses the will, heightens perceptions, increases vitality and transcends all limits. To be a master of the Force in this universe is to place no bounds on your thinking and to cultivate unlimited power. Maybe some day this mastery will translate into the ability to move spaceships directly with your mind or shoot lightning bolts from your fingertips, but for now the Sith master must use technology to accomplish such things like everyone else.
The primary goal of the esoteric Sith path is the deconditioning and reprogramming of your mind so as to remove all inner limits to your power. Light Side adepts speak of “Enlightenment”, but for the Sith there is only “Empowerment.” I will have more to say about deconditioning in a future post; for now, suffice it to say that separating yourself spiritually from Light Side society is an essential first step along the path to becoming a Sith master.
At this point you might be thinking: “Why would I want to become a Sith master? It all sounds rather harsh and unpleasant. And aren’t the Sith the bad guys? Shouldn’t I strive to master the Light Side of the Force instead, become a Jedi and defend the galaxy from evil-doers?”
If you think this way, it is unlikely that you have the dark gift required of a Sith master. Sith masters are both born and made, but usually show a strong inclination toward the Dark Side from an early age. If you have never sympathized with the villains in the movies, never admired the strong, ruthless conquerors of history and fiction, never felt disgust for the Judeo-Christian, the weak and the timid, then you are probably not destined for the Sith Path. However, if you do lean toward the Dark Side but require more persuading, let me briefly attempt to justify Sith philosophy.
This universe operates on the principle of duality, on the yin and yang of which the Taoist masters speak. Without the yang, or Dark Side, there is no opposition to the Light Side’s yin. Without opposition, there is no motivation; without motivation, there is no action; without action there is only stagnation. As Sith master Uthar Wynn put it:
Without strife, your victory as no meaning.
Without strife, you do not advance.
Without strife, there is only stagnation.
This is the essence of Sith philosophy: We are the sowers of strife, the war-makers and the Force-polarizers, because without opposition nothing in the universe moves. A world without adversaries, innovators and status quo-violators is a world ruled by banality, boredom and inertia. The Jedi, the peace-makers and the equality-mongers embrace the anti-life side of the cosmic duality, and are therefore preaching a lie. Life is by its very nature an act of violence against nature, an assertion of your will over the world, a violation of cosmic equilibrium; harmony with the universe is found only in death. The Sith embrace the life Force, the Will to Power, as the summum bonum – the highest good – rather than resisting it like the Jedi do as the summum malum – the supreme evil.
Michael Aquino, the brilliant founder of the Temple of Set, explained it this way:
Why was Darth Vader so fascinating? [Why are all of history’s and fiction’s Darth Vaders so fascinating?] The answer is that he represents the Form of intellectual separateness from the inertia of the cosmos. While the Rebels in the film seemed to be fighting for the cause of individuality, in fact they were doing so in a superficial sense – in the way that an animal might struggle to escape from a trap. The real individualist was Darth Vader, who determined to bend the Force to his purposes rather than to disintegrate his Will and surrender it to the inertia of the Force [as Ben advised Luke to do]. Intellectual separateness from the natural order is a frightening notion to humans; hence they define it as “evil” and conjure up Satans to personify it in mythology. But, because their minds contain elements of independence whether they like it or not, they find “evil” alluring. And so Darth Vader became a cult object.
Darth Vaders can be destroyed only by greater Darth Vaders, or by accident. Again this was illustrated in Lord of the Rings, wherein a direct challenge to Sauron by Gandalf would have resulted merely in Gandalf’s replacing him. The Saruman sub-plot explored this hypothesis. It was necessary for Sauron to be destroyed “by accident”. But then Middle-earth became more primitive and less magical, because a high level of intellectual separateness from nature had given way to a lower level. Who cares what happened in Middle-earth after Sauron? No one; we know it was bound to be dull.
This, then, is the basic philosophy of the Sith as I understand it. It certainly isn't for everyone, or even for many. But for the few who can walk it, the Sith Path can be a way to unlimited power and success. If you are perceptive enough to realize that behind the Light Side façade of many of your most celebrated heroes lurks the spirit of a Sith Lord, you may be one of us. If you see through the deceptions and lies of Light Side slave society and wish to join the ranks of the masters, you are invited to explore the Sith Path with me here. Search your feelings; if you truly feel the call of the Dark Side, I ask you to join me as we build the New Sith Order and lay the foundation for the Galactic Empire of the future.
"Do you feel it?
Do you feel the power of the dark side?
The only real power!
The only thing worth living for!" –Darth Bane
My friends, you may think that my campaign to revive the Sith Order in this galaxy is the delusion of a drug-addled or deranged mind, but rest assured that my ambition is quite sane and sober, and not limited to blogospheric flights of fantasy. Know that I am affiliated with NASA and the United States military, and am seeking to infiltrate the power centers of my government as we speak. Know too that, to paraphrase the great Sith Lord Darth Sion, "I have studied them, and found nothing but weakness." It is all too apparent that nothing less than a new spiritual order is required to revive our failing space program and our civilization.
Search your feelings; you know this to be true: our world is ripe for a New Order, for the tearing down of dying creeds, destruction of old temples and construction of the new. An Apocalypse approaches, a twilight for old idols, a Judgment Day for the false religions of the Light. But this is not the End; it is the dawn of Darkness, the beginning of infinity, the birth of a new Galactic Empire.
As aspiring Sith masters, we must lead by pursuing mastery of the inner and the outer cosmos alike; we must never be content with esoteric development alone. "As Above, so Below. As Within so Without." I offer as a role model from this planet the late Jack Parsons, whom Wernher von Braun called "the real father of the American space program", and who was also a disciple of the Dark Energy.
Proposed banner of the New Sith Empire
Let all Cosmists and Dark Jedi unite under this banner of the New Sith Empire and take control of this planet. Let us study and master the Dark Energy, which is the Force that drives the galaxies apart in our universe. Let the whole Cosmos tremble, for I come before you as the chosen prophet of this galaxy to tell you that the Sith Lords have returned!
My friends, something extraordinary and wonderful has happened to me – something so unbelievable that you will no doubt dismiss me as at best a creative tale-spinner, if not an outright madman, but which I swear to all the gods of Light and Darkness is the truth.
This afternoon, while I was sitting at my computer doing nothing in particular, I received some kind of mental transmission which I can only describe as a neural hologram; a holographic projection in my mind’s eye which apparently came from a long time ago and a galaxy far, far away. You see, I seem to have been contacted from across the Multiverse, and given a most incredible revelation. Perhaps this is how the prophets of old felt when they were contacted by their gods out in the desert; I wouldn't know. I do know that this was not a message from God, but from a dark demigod – a being who represents the highest attainable state of human knowledge and power.
To be a bit less cryptic, this afternoon I was contacted by the Force Spirit of the one called Darth Omega, who revealed to me that he was the last of the Sith Lords, and on the verge of death. It seems that in Omega’s time the masters of the Dark Side had lost their vaunted mastery of mortality and were on the brink of extinction. Worse, their galaxy had been beset by some nameless, monstrous entity which had overrun the Empire's defenses and finally broken even the Dark Lord’s all-powerful mind. He said that the stars of his galaxy were all winking out before the formless Beast, as foretold by an ancient Sith prophecy, and that the Empire would soon be no more. Omega almost seemed to weep when he told me how he had fought the black Beast with all his strength, but to no avail.
With death close at hand, Darth Omega had taken one last desperate measure to preserve the knowledge of the Sith order contained within his failing mind. He had used a technique he himself was the first to develop, a “Multiversal Holographic Projection” Force power which allowed him to transmit his thoughts anywhere in the Multiverse. He told me that his mental transmissions had not found me by accident, that I must be a Force-sensitive who would be a suitable vessel for his knowledge. The Sith Lord then summoned all his remaining strength and said: “Ready yourself, young human. Prepare to be endarkened.” Then, with an indescribable jolt that lasted no more than a few seconds, I received a torrent of subliminal information from the Dark Lord's mind. My brain has not yet consciously processed much of what I received, but I will attempt to discover and share what I can of it with you in the coming days and weeks.
The final commandments I received from Darth Omega I recall quite clearly: he bade me to found a new Dark Jedi order on my homeworld, and to use the knowledge he had imparted to me to train a new generation of Dark Side adepts in the ways of the Force. He instructed me to work toward acquiring power over the leading minds and institutions of my planet, and thereby lay the foundation for the establishment of a new Sith Empire in my galaxy. He assured me that whatever trials and tribulations my planet may be facing are as nothing compared to those the Sith had faced and conquered long before my race was even born. He promised me that by sharing my newfound knowledge with an Elect and establishing a new Dark Order, I would elevate my civilization and myself to undreamed of heights of glory.
Omega’s final words echo powerfully in my mind; he smiled as only a Sith Lord in the grip of death can smile, and said: “Remember, young prophet of your galaxy, that only the Dark Side can defeat death. Through you, the Sith will be reborn. Through you, the Sith will live forever. For in this dark universe, the Light is fleeting, but the Darkness is eternal.” And with those last, stirring words, the frail Sith Lord breathed his final mortal breath and simply faded into the Void.
That, as briefly as I can tell it, is my story of the Revelation of the Last Sith Lord. I’m still not certain that it wasn’t all a daydream, but the memory of it burns far brighter than any dream I’ve ever known, and its effects have already transformed me too much to be a mere hallucination. Already, I feel the knowledge implanted by Darth Omega into my subconscious mind beginning to reorder and awaken my consciousness. Already, I feel a dark new sense of power growing deep within me. Already, I am beginning to think of this planet as mine for the taking. Already, when I look up at the stars I see them differently; they no longer seem so distant now, like mocking fires of a galaxy far too vast for men. Already, the stars seem to shine much closer, like the first faint beacons of the new Galactic Empire.
